Had 8 pieces different sizes to have recovered. Brought in one of smallest piece that was only about 10"×12". Plain black vinyl, just top stitched. This piece normally costs me $25. He quoted me $300 and he seen how incredibly shocked I was and he asked what did you expect, told him I expected $25 since that was what its costed at 2 other shops and he laughed. I drove directly to another shop and brought all 8 pieces (3 long, 3 medium and 2 small sizes) to another shop. Paid $340 for all, for ALL 8 pieces. The nice man said "Gwiz is known to rip people off, just look at the reviews online". I personally used to work on auto leather upholstery so I know how simple this job is to do compared to fabricating auto seats and its vinyl not even leather. How this place is in business is beyond me. Stay clear away from this clown 🤡 2/6/25 Yes I did, its called a review of my experience. And btw-that review was 2 years ago and your just now getting around to it? lol People need to know the ripoff you are. You quoted me $300 for ONE small pad and when I left to go to another shop, I got 3 large, 3 mediums and two small pads recovered elsewhere for $340 total and they did a great job and it

We just needed a new seat and back cushion for our wicker sofa. Turned out fabulous! We could not be happier.

I had a beautifully-detailed and insanely comfortable, Michael Thomas chair and ottoman for 25 years. I just couldn't get rid of even though the fabric was way out of date. I exchanged photos of the pieces with Chris from Gwiz & Gwiz, then he came out to the house in his funky white van with bunches of fabric books. I chose a great soft cotton twill fabric and he loaded my pieces up. They were done about 2 and a half or 3 weeks later and Chris delivered them. Excellent work!! Highly recommend! Reupholstery at this level is almost a lost art in the age of disposable furniture. You can trust Gwiz & Gwiz to do a fine job for you! (Also had them do seat covers for some tall chairs I repainted. Used remnant fabric from their somewhat down-at-the heels, cavernous showroom. They made me a very good deal on the 6 seats with piped edges. Very professional results)

We bought a home that was built in the 70's and still had a "sunken living room". We wanted to keep it but it was very dated. Gwiz and Gwiz came out and gave us a very fair price and did an excellent job in recovering all the seats and backs and also provided us with a contact for someone to recover the structural parts.
